Ambience was superb service exceptional a wonderful experience. My overseas guests were enchanted to experience a traditional hostelry. We will certainly visit again

With friends visiting for Mad Dog weekend, and having a voucher from Christmas to use, we opted for the Hesketh Arms in Churchtown for our Saturday evening meal. We were far from disappointed, as everything from the online booking system to the actual food was excellent. The service was first class and the pub is a characterful little gem.

A little disappointed by the approach of bar staff when entering.Main meal very tasty but knife and fork needed to be replaced. Drink was very weak but nice tast.Pudding was very disappointing far to much cream, We were not asked if would like milk with coffee.The Hesketh Arms has confortable seating and a nice interior would not return.

We were late making a booking but it was so easy to book online and we got a confirmation straight away. Everything was excellent and we will definitely be going again soon.
